First Conditional

  • use it in present and future time
  • it is a real or true conditional
IF+present simple / , / WILL + base form 

If I study very hard, I will pass my test. 
  • you can also change the order of the two parts of the sentence and it is still correct (no comma).
I will pass my test if I study very hard.

a) If you ________(help) me with my homework, I _________(finish) it faster and then we can go to the movies together.

b) If it __________(not/rain), we __________(probably/go) to the beach this afternoon.

c) Sarah _______(come) home early if she __________(not/be) very busy at work.

d) Our teacher ___________  (be) happy if we _________(do) our homework.

e) If Mohammed __________(play) on our soccer team, we ___________(definitely/win) the match.
